Day #1--314 miles--Weeki Wachee to DeFuniak Springs, FL.

We left home @ 07:54 AM--31 miles into the trip we had to pay Grannie a visit. Lardy--Lardy--Grannie used a whole bucket of lard on my breakfast. Not used to that. Spending the night at a B&B in DeFuniak Springs, Fl @ Hotel DeFuniak. Hotel has been around since 1920 and supposedly is haunted. Tiime will tell.

A lot of history in this town. The oldest library still in operation in Florida. There is a one mile walking tour of historical homes around one of only two spring-fed round lakes in the world.

Jeff and Marsha--these are for you. Stopped in "The Little Big Store" and found a RC Cola and a Moon Pie. Yummy. There was the smallest Post Office ever. And it's in business with limited capabilities. Loving this town.
